The clue is in the name: New Minister for Police &
Fire, which confirms even more clearly that the boundaries between the fire
and police services are to be deeply blurred – if not merged. However, it also
signals that emergency ambulances are unlikely to be directly in the mix for
the time being.
The Prime
Minister has begun replacing the entire ministerial team at the Home Office
with the appointment of a barrister as Minister of State for Police and Fire. Read more >>>
Brandon Lewis has been helpful in the recognition of the
Postgraduate Certificate in Collaborative Transformation by government when he
awarded the graduation certificates, and Shared
Service Architect recognition, to students.
We are doing our bit too. In the last six weeks, 34 police/fire
project leads have completed our three day CTPrac
programme™ and 40 FRS staff have attended
collaborative leadership sessions to build both capacity, and collaborative
advantage, in their organisations.
