There’s a new collaborative working acronym in health LCOs (Local Care Organisations), but currently only in the Greater

LCOs, is a term developed to describe how the region will secure a “proactive, preventative population health model”.

So, this adds to the collaborative “prevent”,
or “early action”, models of upstream collaborative
working. These are where the actions of one partner (or partners) upstream,
reduces the demand for the services of others who are downstream.
