News Summary of Collaboration and Shared Services from 19th October 2016



Unfortunately, the headline in the press on Monday was about hundreds of public sector staff cuts, especially in councils. So let’s talk about jobs in the collaboration sector.

The “collaboration sector” only exists, when you bring together the common skills that are appearing in many more adverts:

·         Ability to work across a wide range of partners
·         Supporting the development of a common vision
·         Skills in facilitating collaborative change within the organisation

There are 10 jobs below that require the collaborative working skills of a Collaborative Transformation/Shared Service practitioner or architect. It doesn’t say it in the title and you are unlikely to see a job saying “Collaborative Transformation Architect Wanted!”.

So, when you see a job title below, don’t dismiss it because it doesn’t match exactly what you are doing now. Look at it from the collaborative skills requirement as a way in the door.

And, sitting at interview with CTPrac™ or CTArc™ recognition could prove helpful too.
